Hello my name is Anna, I’m 17 and have been struggling with long Covid since April last year, I’ve had Covid twice one time in April 2022 and one time in June 2022 and it’s been rough since then. My symptoms started out with me fainting and not getting my energy up again. Since then I’ve been to a lot of doctors and after that time

I’ve been diagnosed with POTS, chronic pain and suspected ME/CFS. Since I had to stop School I’ve been home in an out of multiple mobility aids. Right now I’m on my feet again after a very helpful treatment. It’s getting a bit better. Well this is my story. I really just hope that I can help others with my experience and that doctors will keep researching

Hello Anna, thank you so much for sharing your story. I am so sorry to hear that you have been struggling for quite some time and also that you are so young and to have had to stop school! That must have been just awful to have fainted, I really hope the doctors you have seen have been supportive and you have got some answers. I am so pleased you have received helpful treatments and back on your feet. You are honestly doing so well and you should be really proud of yourself. I am always here if you ever wanted to chat/vent! You have certainly helped me after sharing your story and i am sure others feel the same too, so thank you very much. It is really lovely to have you here. Sending so much love ❤️

My name is Anna and I’ve been battling long Covid since November of 2022. I got Covid for the first time in October of 2022. My long Covid symptoms started pretty much right away. It started with a racing heart. I can’t believe I escaped getting Covid for as long as I did. I worked as a dental hygienist through the pandemic. My main symptoms are racing heart, heart palpitations, fatigue, anxiety and depression. There are many more but those are my worst symptoms. I have two amazing kids and the most supportive husband so I realize how lucky I am. I am struggling with so much guilt and grief over being sick. I can’t do half the things I used to be able to do. I do have good days which I’m so grateful for. Unfortunately I still have more bad days than good days. I’m being seen by…

Hi Anna,

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m so sorry to hear you have been struggling since October. I can imagine with all those symptoms it’s been so hard for you. It is so lovely that you have your husband and children for support but I can imagine it is also difficult as you don’t just have yourself to look after, it must be hard for them too. I am so sorry.❤️‍🩹 I really appreciate you mentioning what supplements you are taking, I will definitely be looking into those. Please don’t think you’re alone with the whole pacing thing, I am exactly the same!!

We will get there Anna though, no matter what, we will get there and feel better.

It has been so wonderful to chat with you about everything over the last few weeks, you’ve been such a wonderful support. Thank you!

And again, thank you so much for sharing your story so beautifully and bravely. Sending you so much love ❤️
